Bitsy the Dog
An AI Robot Dog on Campus — Exploring the Future of Human-AI Interaction
Starting April 1st, 2026 at the University of Arizona
What Is Bitsy the Dog?
Bitsy the Dog is a Unitree Go2 EDU AI quadruped robot — a cutting-edge robotic dog powered by artificial intelligence. Our team is bringing Bitsy to the University of Arizona campus to study how people react to and interact with AI-powered robots in everyday public spaces.
Our Mission
We believe the future of AI isn’t just about technology — it’s about how humans and intelligent machines coexist. By placing an AI robot dog in a real-world campus environment, we aim to document authentic human-AI interactions, gather data on public perception of robotics, and contribute to the growing field of human-robot interaction research.
