Justin Lovaas — Project Lead

Justin is the visionary behind the Bitsy the Dog project. With a passion for emerging technology and a deep curiosity about how AI will reshape everyday life, Justin is leading the effort to bring a robot dog to the streets of Tucson, AZ. He oversees project direction, partnerships, and community engagement.

Kaylie Martin — Co-Lead & Operations

Kaylie manages the day-to-day operations of the project, from logistics and scheduling to documentation and outreach. Her organizational skills and attention to detail keep the project running smoothly, ensuring that field testing sessions are well-coordinated and that all interactions are properly documented.

Donald Daskam — Technical Lead, AI & Programming

Donald is the technical brain behind Bitsy. He handles all AI programming, robot configuration, and data collection systems. With expertise in artificial intelligence and robotics programming, Donald ensures that Bitsy performs at its best during real-world interactions and that all technical data is captured accurately.
